End of day debrief

I've posted quite a no. of photos tdy, coz most are from my collection of favourites. I will continue to shoot whenever i have time. Enjoy!

Flowers in the sky

This was shot on 8th August 2006.

Went at 1630, arrived at 1730, considered lucky to find a spot in between bushes... This place is super crowded.

Waited till 2030 for the first bloom. The whole event lasted less than 15 mins, but to me, all was worth it.

This is my second trial at the fireworks festival, and this is one of the better pics. The first trial was a disaster.

Where is 04S32?

Where have all our classmates gone?

I particularly liked this photo as not only is it my first keeper shot from my d70, it also portrays the loneliness of my classmate, among the cheerful crowds.

The Legacy of the Lumix

This is the last, and probably the BEST shot from my Panasonic FZ30 + wcon07 combo. I've since traded the system for a nikon d70 as i felt i needed more flexiblity and control of my shots. Nonetheless, the FZ30 is still one of the best prosumer cams money can buy.

This shot is taken in AnHai, Fujian, China, at a distant relative's house.

First blood... in white

This is my first ever shot in Infra-Red. To me, IR opens a whole new world of photography in the green (now white) city of Singapore. Ever wondered how would singapore look like during winter? Well, IR would be the closest effect i can come up with.

This shot is taken at a park below my block. There is only 1 hr of sunshine today due to the nasty haze.
